Slow motion fix
So when i waited for this game to come out, it was totally slow when i first played it. I thought that was really weird because my computer was very fast and ment for gaming. My computer came with windows 8.1. Windows 8.1 comes with a driver called intel integrated graphics. It is a terrible but basic graphics driver and windows 8.1 sets it as default. I have a Nvidia graphics card. The game is using the integrated graphics automatically which is why its slow. So follow what i do and it should work great.
First, right click on your desktop and go to Nvidia control panel. Go to the manage 3d settings and go to program settings tab. Click the add tab and find resident evil 4 hd. It should look like this.
Now click the preferred graphics processor for this program and click the High performence option.
Then click apply and play your game. (It is recommended that you put the 60 FPS fix to 30 FPS) It should work great.
Black screen fix
I never got a black screen error but i have a friend that had this so we will fix it. If you have this problem, its the easiest fix XD. Just take off the AA settings from the game and your graphics card menu.
There you go. A simple fix. So easy. Enjoy.
Cutscene audio out of synch fix
OK I think we can all agree that when this problem occurs it makes you want to stop playing the game and never talk or think about it again. This happened to me with other games but not this one. So this is a problem that has to do with the speed of your computer. It has to meet the system requirements and barely fit the recommendations. The system requirements are
- Minimum:
- OS: Windows XP/ Vista®, Windows 7, Windows 8
- Processor: Intel® Core™ 2 Duo 2.4 Ghz or better, AMD Athlon™ X2 2.8 Ghz or better
- Memory: 2 GB RAM
- Graphics: NVIDIA® GeForce® 8800GTS or better, ATI Radeon™ HD 4850 or better
- DirectX: Version 9.0c
- Hard Drive: 15 GB available space
- Sound Card: Standard audio device
- Recommended:
- OS: Windows Vista®, Windows 7, Windows 8
- Processor: Intel® Core™ 2 Quad 2.7 Ghz or better, AMD Phenom™ II X4 3 Ghz or better
- Memory: 4 GB RAM
- Graphics: NVIDIA® GeForce® GTX 560 or better
- DirectX: Version 9.0c
- Hard Drive: 15 GB available space
My laptop meets all of this and a lot higher so this problem doesn't occur to me. Yet there is another really easy fix. This is if your computer isn't fast enough, Just go to the video settings in the game and make the 60 FPS turn to 30 FPS.
Now your cutscenes should be completly fixed. Your game is now entirely fixed. :D. Thank you for coming to my site and please contact me is there are any further problems or additional errors. Enjoy.
